Ixxus today announced that they have been awarded an impressive total of five speaking slots for the upcoming Alfresco DevCon 2011, to be held at Prospero House in London on 9-10th November 2011. As the only Alfresco platinum partner in the UK, Ixxus are proud to have the chance to share some of their experiences with conference delegates.

Alfresco DevCon 2011 is due to take place in both San Diego and London, and represents a perfect opportunity for developers and members of the Alfresco community to improve their technical skills and learn about new and upcoming developments within the community, whilst networking and connecting with peers and contemporaries.

The five abstracts submitted by Ixxus and accepted by Alfresco for speaking slots are Using Enterprise Content in Grails (Robin Bramley), Global Federation and Search (Robin Bramley), Surfing with CMIS (Ben Dougherty), Customising the Upload File(s) Dialog in Alfresco Share (Martin Bergljung) and Integrating Alfresco with Publishing Tools (Chris Hudson).

The conference will also feature talks from a variety of key speakers and thought-leaders from within the open-source world, and attendees can learn about all the new features in Alfresco 4.0 – Share extensibility, Activiti, Solr – giving them the chance to ‘level up’ their skills and learn everything they need to build content-centric solutions with Alfresco.

Pre-conference training takes place on Tuesday November 8th, with a selection of either Jumpstart or Advanced Alfresco one-day courses. The conference proper will run on Wednesday November 9th and Thursday November 10th. To register, visit http://www.amiando.com/alfresco-devcon-london-2011.html
