Grails is a fantastic framework for rapidly developing web applications; however, enterprise developers are often forced to work with existing web content management frameworks that may limit their options. The Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) standard should change all of that and free developers to use high productivity tools. This article walks you through how the standard works and how to access content via the Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) standard within in a Grails application.
