Ixxus adopted a combined approach for the Alfresco implementation, working as part of the internal development team at Yell. Delivering in an agile fashion, with daily scrums, and regular sprint cycles, the joint Yell/Ixxus team was able to make dramatic improvements to the publishing performance of the site. Ixxus initially advised on the content architecture and then, as part of the development team, concentrated on performance enhancements. Speed of throughput was dramatically improved and editorial UI customizations, provided by Ixxus, boosted usability of the editorial environment. Additionally Ixxus also played an important role in integrating the XML feeds from third party sources.
